Ophiopogon japonicus var nana variegated is commonly called variegated dwarf mondo grass, forms tufts or clumps of dark green, needle-like foliage much more compact than common mondo grass. It is just like its cousin dwarf mondo but has a thin, dark green foliage with thin, silvery-cream margins on the leaves. It grows to a maximum height of 10 cm and makes an excellent feature border around paving blocks in pathways. It is a low maintenance drought hardy plant with very few diseases and pests. Plant 5 to 10 cm apart for a hedged border. The price is per clump equivalent to a 68mm cell.
