Ophiopogon japonicus, common mondo grass, forms tufts or clumps of dark green, needle-like foliage. It grows to a maxium height of 30cm. This form of mondo makes an exceptional natural border dividing garden and pathways as shown in the pictures. Once established it easily holds back pine bark chips in the garden whereas. It spreads reasonably quickly and looks great. Plant 10 to 15 cm apart for a hedged border. The price is per clump equivalent to a 68mm cell.
