Collection: Crinum

The genus Crinum are a group of tropical and subtropical lilies found in many continents including Australia. There are over 100 species of Crinum. Two most commonly grown bear large scented lily like flowers in mainly pale pink or white. Flowers appear from middle to late Summer and sometimes into Autumn. Crinums thrive in dappled shade under tress and can be relied on to flower year after year even if neglected. Foliage may remain evergreen if there is ample moisture. They grow best in warm to cool regions and can tolerate light frosts. Grows best in well drained soil that has been enriched with organic matter.
