These seedlings are expected to flower orange or shades of orange, many of which should have strong green centres although this cannot be guaranteed. As these seedlings are split for yellow they would produce a percent of unpigmented based seedlings if selfed or crossed over a similar split for yellow cross. As the multipetal trait is recessive it is not known the extent to which these seedling will flower multipetal but we expect about 50% should have the trait. For further information on breeding for multipetal see the article written by us in the International Clivia Society Yearbook 10, page 34. To be a relatively true breeding multipetal the majority of flowers should be multipetal. These seedlings have 2 to 4 leaves and are about 12 months old.
