Our multipetals range from 8 to 12 petals per flower and we only use the best multipetal pollens to create these seedlings. As the multipetal trait is recessive it is not known the extent to which these seedling will flower multipetal but we expect about 50% should have the trait. For further information on breeding for multipetal see the article written by us in the International Clivia Society Yearbook 10, page 34. The pictures shown for illustrative purposes are some of our multipetal clivia. To be a relatively true breeding multipetal the majority of flowers should be multipetal. These seedlings have 2 to 4 leaves and are about 12 months old.
