Description:

Agapanthus Black Magic is a full size robust variety bred in Queensland by Maleny Agapanthus.  

Flowers:

It has large round heads of blackish buds, opening to the deepest purple flowers over wide straps of dark blue/green foliage.

Uses:

Ideal for borders around gardens or driveways or as a specimen plant in a pot.

Growing Guide:

Prefers a full sun to semi-shaded location.  An easy to grow hardy plant that thrives in most conditions and requires minimum maintenance.   They are one of the hardiest dark blue agapanthus available on the market today.

Companion planting:

A great companion agapanthus is Agapanthus Queen Mum to create a visual flowering sensation.

Problems:

Few problems encountered but poor drainage may rot the root system.
