![]() Pine Mountain Nursery Current Category Novelty Clivia Crosses A number of new flower types have emerged in recent years, including bleached tepals and splash flowers to name just a few. A major activity we are undertaking is to further develop parti-colour novel clivia flowering to produce new colour combinations. It is also not known the extent to which novelty characteristics is dominant or recessive over other novelty characteristics. The price is per seed reflects more the very limited quantity of seed available rather than the potential outcome of the crosses. From our experiences with particolour clivias, the tepal colour is usually pale on opening and then changes as the flowers mature to rich shades of orange red. Set out below are two time series pictures showing the flowers of two diferent parti-colours change over time. PMN Melon 1- PMN Melon 2- Set out below are some other novelty clivia - PMN Day Lily PMN Harbour Lights Sahin Twin x (Aussie Dawn x self) Louisa x Aussie Dawn/Sunset GPAS06001 Apricot Bicolour PMN Tangerine Bicolour GPAS06001 has big well shaped bleached pastel flowers. It flowered for the first time in 2006. Its pod parent is a split for yellow. PMN Melon 2 is a particolour which also goes through pronounced multi coloured stages as the flowers mature.
