Clivia, (Orange x Yellow) x Yellow - small - 3 to 4 leaves

These seedlings will have three to four leaves and are about 12 months old.  They have been created by crossing a good orange flowering clivia over a yellow flowering clivia and when that plant flowers crossing it back over a yellow flowering clivia.  This cross may produce a range of flowering types from pale oranges, oranges and pastels. An added bonus is that when these plants flower they should produce a percentage of yellow flowering clivias, particularly if crossed back over a yellow or each other. This combination is often used by breeders as part of a breeding program with interspecific clivia.

Clivia, [(Orange x yellow) x yellow] - large 12 to 14 leaves

These plants are flowering size and have 12 to 14 leaves.  They have been created by crossing a good green centre orange flowering ([orange x yellow] x yellow)  over a similar split yellow.  The objective of this program were to obtain green centre creams, pastels and orange types.  The unpigmented based seedlings have been removed which means that the plants offered may have a range of flowering colours from pale oranges, oranges and pastels.

An added bonus is that when these plants flower they should produce a percentage of yellow flowering clivias, particularly if crossed back over a yellow. This combination is often used by breeders as part of a breeding program with interspecific clivia.
