Clivia Miniata Seed > Pastels

At Pine Mountain a major focus is on producing pastels, pinks and peach flowering clivia.  Unfortunately we rarely offer pastel flowering plants for sale as we are still building our stocks.  We will offer each year some limited quantities of fresh seed. Each year we focus on using a couple of plants as the pollen parents. In 2007 pollen was used from the following plants.  The pod parents are shown individually under each category.  Like all seed grown clivia the potential outcome of these crosses is not known but expect a range of flower colour outcomes including yellow.  All our pastel flowers came from pigmented based seedlings so unpigmented based seedlings should flower yellow.
