Interspecific clivia are crosses between various species of clivia - C. caulscens, C. gardenii, C. miniata, C. mirabilis, C. nobilis and C. Robusta. These crosses can produce some ordinary looking flowers on the first cross of two species but often when these first crosses are selfed or crossed amongst themselves or other interspecifics, some beautiful flowers and colour types are possible.
Please note some interspecific crosses can take up to 8 years to flower. These are typically caulescens and nobilis crosses. Gardenii and miniata crosses tend to flower a lot earlier. Accordingly prices will vary according to the age of the plants.
